Route to Padi

From NLEX, take San Fernando Exit. Go straight along Olongapo-Gapan Road until Hermosa, Bataan. From Hermosa, Bataan, you may take:

Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX):

From Olongapo-Gapan Road, take exit in Palihan, Hermosa Bataan leading to Dinalupihan SCTEX exit. Then take Arganaut Highway in SBMA all the way to Morong Gate Junction. Follow the road passing through Pawikan Conservation Center in Brgy. Nagbalayong until Strands Subdivion entrance.

Roman Expressway-Gov. Linao Highway:

From Olongapo-Gapan Road, take Roman Expressway that begins in Layac, Dinalupihan, Bataan, passing through Hermosa, Samal, Orani, Abucay, Balanga City and Pilar. Turn right in Pilar Intersection leading to Gov. Linao Highway passing through Junction to Mt. Samat, Bagac and Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP). From BNPP, follow the road to Pawikan Conservation Center in Brgy. Nagbalayong until Strands Subdivion entrance.

From the Strands Subdivision entrance, turn right until Padi Street.

PLACES OF INTEREST

Mount Samat

Known as the site of the most vicious battle against the Japanese Imperial Army in 1942, the mountain is the location of the Dambana ng Kagitingan (Shrine of Valor). It was erected to commemorate the Battle of Bataan, where hundreds of Filipino and American soldiers died. A huge white cross stands at the top of mountain and can be seen from miles away.

Pawikan Conservation Center

Located in Nagbalayong, the Pawikan Conservation Center was established by turtle conservation advocates with the help of the provincial government. The center is dedicated to protect the sea turtle species nesting along the coasts of Bagac and Morong.

Bataan Techno Park

Originally a part of the Bataan National Park, the Bataan Techno Park is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. It is being developed as a center for agriculture and aquaculture under the supervision of the Bases Conversion Development Authority.
